Hiroyuki Arai (artist) (新井 洋行) is a Japanese artist formerly employed by Sega. He has lived in Machida, Tokyo since he was 3 years old[1]. After studied product design in university, he joined Sega with the dream of making toys for children[1]. His last work with Sega and subsidiary Smilebit was Ollie King, being credited as a freelancer in Ollie King Original Soundtrack.

Since leaving Sega, he has become an author of picture books[2].
