Croc 2 is a platform game developed by Argonaut Software and published by Fox Interactive for the PlayStation and Windows PCs as a sequel to Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. It was once due to be released for the Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo 64, but neither port materialised.

A "Croc II", presumably for the Sega Saturn, was advertised on the back of the US Croc manual with a tentative release date of Christmas 1998[1] (as was also the case with the PlayStation version). No further information was ever released about a Saturn port, however the porting team is known to have had great difficulty bringing the original game to the console, so attempting the sequel may have ruled out quite quickly.

The Dreamcast version of the game was announced in Summer 1999 along with some high resolution screenshots (which may have been from the PC version). It was planned to be an expanded port of the PlayStation and PC versions, with extra minigames and possibly improved graphics[3]. This version was cancelled in the Autumn of 2000[4] again due to alleged porting difficulties.

Lead designer Nic Cusworth has suggested no serious work on the Saturn or Dreamcast version ever started, although the team did have Dreamcast development kits on hand for producing Red Dog: Superior Firepower, so may have experimented with the idea[5].
