Dark Savior (ダークセイバー) is an indirect sequel to Landstalker: The Treasures of King Nole on the Sega Mega Drive that combines 2D sprites with a 3D environment. It was released on the Sega Saturn in 1996.
Saving Data
The game makes use of the Saturn's internal battery back-up as well as the Saturn Backup Memory to save progress through the game as well as unlock extras.
