SAN FRANCISCO--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--July 23, 2002

Fasten your seat belts; the king of crazy driving games is back! SEGA(R) of America today announced the release of "Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller(TM)" exclusively for the Xbox(TM) video game system from Microsoft(R). Loaded with wild new cabbies, tricked-out vehicles and three massive cities, including the all-new Glitter Oasis, "Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller" takes advantage of Xbox to deliver the biggest, wildest "Crazy Taxi" game yet.

Three times the size of past "Crazy Taxi" games, "Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller" delivers non-stop arcade action on the bustling streets of Glitter Oasis at night. Gamers must race between over-the-top fantasy casinos and labyrinthine desert back roads in a mad dash for cash, collecting fares from customers ranging from glamorous showgirls to gangs of unruly mimes. A new set of challenging mini-games, dubbed the "Crazy X," will help gamers perfect their skills -- from the crazy dash and crazy hop, to insane combo moves like the crazy drift hop dash -- as they unlock new cars and other secret items.

New drivers Mrs. Venus, a pink-haired mother of eight, the surly Zax, unpredictable Angel and super-smooth Bixbite join eight cabbies from the first two games. "Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller" also features tricked out versions of the West Coast level from the original "Crazy Taxi" and the Small Apple from "Crazy Taxi 2" for three full games in one.

"SEGA invented the crazy driving genre with the original `Crazy Taxi,' and with `Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller' we prove that not only did we do it first, but that we still do it the best," said Mike Fischer, vice president, entertainment marketing, SEGA of America. "Whether you're new to the series or a long time fan, prepare to be hooked on even more of the addictive pick-up and play fun that made the original `Crazy Taxi' an instant classic."

"Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller" also features an adrenaline-pumping soundtrack, featuring tracks from Brian Setzer '68 Comeback Special, Methods of Mayhem, Bad Religion, The Offspring and Citizen Bird.

"Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller" for Xbox is rated "T" for Teen, and is available at retailers nationwide for $49.95.
