TENCHU: FATAL SHADOWS HITS STORES

SEGA's Critically-Acclaimed Stealth-Action Ninja Franchise Returns

(February 17, 2005) - SEGA® of America, Inc. today announced the availability of Tenchu®: Fatal Shadows™ exclusively on the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. This fourth installment of the critically-acclaimed Tenchu franchise redefines the stealth-action genre once again, appealing to gamers of all skill levels.

"We're very happy to bring Tenchu: Fatal Shadows into the SEGA family," said Scott. A. Steinberg, Vice President of Entertainment Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "With its unique and cinematic 'stealth kill' system, this title offers an exciting gameplay experience that remains user-friendly to novice gamers."

SEGA has partnered with FromSoftware - developers of the popular Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven (released in 2003 for PlayStation®2) - and K2 Studios to continue the legacy of the flagship franchise. Significant visual upgrades have been made from prior installments, enhanced stealth maneuvers challenge your ninja skills and all-new kill moves add even more realism and entertainment to this ninja-based action adventure.

Ayame returns from prior Tenchu installments to preserve the code of the ninja. Rin, a new playable character, is a ninja-in-training who witnesses the demise of her entire village and is driven to avenge her friends and family. Both girls can now breathe and move underwater using wind reeds, and can hide slain enemies or use them as decoys to lure others.

Tenchu: Fatal Shadows is rated 'M' for Mature and is available at retailers nationwide for an MSRP of $49.95.
