Kanako Kusunoki (楠 香奈子) is a game designer turned director at Sega of Japan. She joined Sega in 2008[1] and was assigned to CS R&D Dept. #3, working as a game designer on the development of the Phantasy Star series and Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA series[1]. After CS3 was dissolved, she joined CS2, thus becoming a part of Sonic Team, where she was notable as the lead game designer for the adventure part of Shin Sakura Taisen[1]. As she had worked on several rhythm games prior, she helped CS2 with Uta Kumi 575, Miracle Girls Festival and much later, as director, Samba de Amigo: Party-To-Go.
