Anarchy Reigns, known in Japan as Max Anarchy (マックスアナーキー), is a beat-'em-up action game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Sega for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

It was featured at E3 2011 and was scheduled for release in July 2012. While it hit its intended Japanese release date, in late 2012 Sega delayed international releases indefinitely^[6] (they were originally scheduled for 3 July release in the US, 6 July in Europe, and 5 July in Australia). Western versions were later announced for release in January 2013.

While it's not a sequel, the game features various characters from one of Platinum's previous titles, MadWorld. There's also DLC that lets you play as Bayonetta's titular character.
