Genux is an open source Sega Mega Drive emulator for Linux, developed by James "Pharos" Seter.
Genux originally was designed because I noticed that Linux lacks any Genesis emulators at the time of this writing, that I know of. I hoped to dedicate my time to rectifying this problem, also I hoped to later make Genux into more then just a genesis emulator. I designed my cpu and cart loaders in such a way hoping to make it easy to just add new CPU's and cart loaders, much like mame, and handle everything from console to arcade. This dream so far has not been met.
