Motoshi Takabe (内田 一成) is a former game designer at Sega AM2. From the 80's to the mid 90's he was a motor sports journalist. In participated in the 1985 Baja 1000 event, placing 6th in the open motorcycle class[1]. He held a close relationship with Yu Suzuki since the days of Hang-On, and the two were part of the team who visited China during the development of Shenmue[2].

He has mainly been involved with ley lines in the 21st century. Since 2001 he has operated the website LEYLINEHUNTING[1], renamed to Seichi Kankou Kenkyuujo Leyline Project in 2016[1]. The Leyline Project was officially launched in 2010 to advise local governments on how to dig up ancient sites and utilize them as tourist attractions[1].
