Welcome to Sega Retro, a project from the people behind Sonic Retro. We aim to cover everything possible about Sega from the 1940s to today. We currently are working on 39,823 articles and have many more that are requested to be worked on.

You can become a part of the Sega Retro community in several different ways:
- Sign up for a Sega Retro account and become part of our group of editors (If you have a Sonic Retro account please use the same username for your account here)
- We have lots of game pages that are in desperate need of more information. If you know your way around some of these games, help us out by telling us how to play or what to expect. We also have many pages that still need to be made.
- We are always on the lookout for high quailty, unmarked, genuine game media scans. If you notice a poor quality or missing scan of a game you have, please help by making a scan and replacing the bad one. You can use our scan tracker to track our progress.
- Log on to BadnikNET (irc://irc.badnik.net) and join #sega, our dedicated IRC channel

- 1987 - Rocky and Sukeban Deka II: Shoujo Tekkamen Densetsu are released for the Sega Master System in Japan.
- 1991 - Super Golf is released for the Sega Game Gear in Japan.
- 1995 - Alien Soldier, a CD, is released in Japan.
- 1996 - 3x3 Eyes: Kyuusei Koushu S, Angel Paradise Vol. 1: Sakaki Yuko: Koi no Yokan in Hollywood, Daibouken: Saint Elmos no Kiseki, and Titan Wars are released for the Sega Saturn in Japan. Cyberia, NFL Quarterback Club 96, Rise 2 Resurrection, and Shellshock are released for the Sega Saturn in Europe.
- 1998 - Sakura Taisen 2 Hanagumi Nyuutai Annai, a book, is released in Japan.
- 2000 - Red Dog: Superior Firepower is released for the Sega Dreamcast in Spain.
- 2001 - Close to: Inori no Oka and Shinseiki Evangelion: Typing E-Keikaku are released for the Sega Dreamcast in Japan. Spider-Man is released for the Sega Dreamcast in North America.
- 2006 - Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg and Sonic Mega Collection Plus are released for Windows PCs in Russia.
- 2011 - Conduit 2 is released for the Wii alongside Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the PlayStation 3 in North America.
- 2012 - The House of the Dead III and The House of the Dead 4 are released for the PlayStation 3 alongside a Closed Beta for Phantasy Star Online 2 for Windows PCs in Japan. Shogun: Total War Battles is released for Android devices and iOS in North America and Europe.
- 2018 - Shin Megami Tensei IV & Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final - Double Hero Pack is released for the Nintendo 3DS alongside Sega Pocket Club Manager for Android devices and iOS in Japan. Sega Pocket Club Manager is released for Android devices in North America, Europe, and Australia.
- 2023 - Flicky, Kid Chameleon, Pulseman, and Street Fighter II': Special Champion Edition are released for the Nintendo Switch Online service for the Nintendo Switch in Japan, Europe, and Australia.
