REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 30, 1997--Sega of America Wednesday announced the early arrival of its greatest fighting game of all time, ''Fighters Megamix'' for the Sega Saturn, at Blockbuster Entertainment stores nationwide.

An exclusive for Blockbuster customers, ''Fighters Megamix'' will be available for rent Friday, May 2, 11 days before the game ships to retail stores May 13.

Combining all of the fighters from Sega's world-renowned ''Virtua Fighter 2'' and the latest arcade favorite, ''Fighting Vipers,'' plus 10 hidden bonus characters, this game is a must-have for fighting-game lovers.

''Fighters Megamix'' offers fast-action combinations, special moves from both games, 32 huge fighting arenas and revolutionary new moves from ''Virtua Fighter 3.'' ''Fighters Megamix'' will be available nationwide for the Sega Saturn on Tuesday, May 13, for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
