Also expand Rosen's article with this information, there's a lot of good stuff here (the "gun corners" and bowling alley success seem very notable, seems like a lot of the basics of Japanese entertainment venues had a lot of influence from America, and vice-versa I'm sure. Would be interesting to trace how influential each countries' ideas for this stuff have on one another, and that legacy today.)
