Sega Forever

From Sega Retro

I shouldn't do it... because we're superior to this... but where the hell is Retro in that list?... ... does retro needs to write a book to get one?... you can put them in "your dark stinky holes" ...--Asagoth (talk) 04:34, 7 September 2019 (EDT)

Artwork sources

This is getting messy...

On both this wiki and Sonic Retro have various artwork uploaded by Sega Forever's Twitter account and have such uploads marked as such in their tags, yet at the same time we're getting numerous uploads sourced from their YouTube channel. Given they're both Sega Forever accounts, it would probably be a better idea if we consolidated both their Twitter and YouTube uploads as one source simply named "Sega Forever" or "Sega Forever accounts". --SorachiJirachi (talk) 14:17, 27 July 2023 (EDT)

I'd actually be tempted to keep them separate - the Twitter images are compressed, whereas the YouTube ones are untouched. But presumably some aren't on YouTube.
Although we might have to switch to "Sega Forever 𝕏" =P -Black Squirrel (talk) 17:43, 27 July 2023 (EDT)
My argument against keeping them separate is that sometimes the images will be uploaded to both accounts. There's even been instances where duplicates end up being uploaded, and if the YouTube channel has the better version when an upload from Twitter already exists here (and I'm still calling it Twitter just to stick it to Muskrat =P), it should replace it, and it will also mean having to make a separate edit to change the source in the tag. Compression differences between as a whole shouldn't really matter enough to not consolidate the sources, and if they have to be sourced from a particular site, that's what archived references are for. --SorachiJirachi (talk) 22:20, 27 July 2023 (EDT)
How about a "YouTube takes priority, anything Twitter exclusive goes in the other thing."? JaxTH (talk) 16:32, 21 August 2023 (EDT)
