I'll give a short rundown of the four R&D studios:
 
Sega R&D1 is actually the [[Sega AM1]]
 
Sega R&D2 is actually [[Sega AM2]]
 
Sega R&D3 is [[Sonic Team]] and also [[Sega CS1]] and [[Sega CS2]]
