The Nintendo Switch 2 (ニンテンドースイッチ2), codenamed Ounce, is a Nintendo video game console and successor to the original Nintendo Switch released in 2025. The console itself shares a number of distinct features from its predecessor, such as different Joy-Con connectors and an unspecified port at the top of the system, close to its respective game card slot. It is also backwards compatible with most Nintendo Switch titles and support for the Nintendo Switch Online service, including Sega Mega Drive - Nintendo Switch Online.
