SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2000

Sega(R) of America, Inc. today announced a partnership with Bubblicious(R), America's number one bubble gum, to introduce the company's newest flavor, Savage Sour Apple. To help Bubblicious promote this new flavor, Sega is offering the exclusive opportunity for consumers to win one of many great prizes including: 100 Sega Dreamcast(TM) systems, 1,000 copies of the videogame "Sonic Shuffle(TM)," and 5,000 18-pack boxes of delicious, Bubblicious Savage Sour Apple gum!

The grand prize winner will receive a "Sonic Shuffle" party with Sonic the Hedgehog, a DJ and an extreme athlete. The winner and his or her friends will enjoy quality time with Sonic, pizza and soda, Dreamcast gameplay and of course free Savage Sour Apple gum for all! The grand prize winner will also receive his or her own Dreamcast system and a copy of "Sonic Shuffle." As an added bonus, the winner will get a personalized website highlighting their party on Sega.com for up to six months. Bubblicious is supporting the sweepstakes with counter units at convenience store retailers and in-school posters. The contest will run from August through December.
