The "prototype A" build of World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck is a prototype build of World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck for the Sega Mega Drive. It may have been released by an old ROM dumping group known as MAGICAL.
This prototype features many differences from the final game, along with a number of debug features present. It has been modified from its original dump to remove checksum checks and possible trademark information. It's most likely the source of this ROM dump itself was a pirate cartridge. The original unmodified ROM, and information regarding its original release, has been lost.
