Blam! Machinehead (ブラム!マシーンヘッド), known in the US as Machine Head, is an action shooting game developed by Core Design and published by Virgin Interactive for the Sega Saturn, PlayStation and IBM PC. A Sega 32X version of the game was once in development, but was cancelled.
Blam! Machinehead began as sequel to the Sega Mega CD game Battlecorps, before the project was moved to more powerful systems. During development it was known as Machinehead: Slaughterhouse Earth, then Blam!, with "Machinehead" being re-added to the title shortly afterwards.
Contents
Gameplay
Blam! Machinehead is similar in design to Core's earlier Sega Mega-CD release, Battlecorps, with players driving a vehicle from a first person perspective, shooting at enemies and obstacles while trying to get to specified locations on the map.
