Junko "Shirako" Shiratsu (白津 順子) is a Sega sound composer who has been active since 1993[1], and has mainly been involved with the Let's Make a Pro J. League Soccer Club! series. She is best known as the main composer of the Sega 32X title Knuckles' Chaotix.

Early life

Junko Shiratsu joined a marching band in her fourth year of elementary school, playing the trumpet. She played cornet and trumpet in her junior high school and high school bands. In her first year of university, she enrolled in night classes to study composition, pop theory and vocals. She studied composition under Yusuke Hoguchi for about 3 or 4 years.[1]
