''Deep Duck Trouble'' is a platform game, similar to its predecessor. The player can move Donald around with {{left}} and {{right}}. Donald can kick blocks with the {{1}} button when standing adjacent to them. Some blocks are kicked towards enemies to defeat them, some are treasure chests that break open to release power-up items, and some have special purposes within the stage that allow Donald to safely bypass certain obstacles or find hidden items. Donald can also jump with {{2}} or swim underwater with {{repeat|{{2}}}}. Most enemies can be defeated by jumping on top of them. Some areas are accessed by bouncing off enemies. {{Up}} enters doors and {{down}} ducks.

Donald has three life gems and loses one when he takes damage from an enemy or other hazard. He loses a try when he loses all three. Both life gems and tries can be replenished by finding items in treasure chests.

There are four stages initially available, which can be played in any order: Jungle, Volcano, Inlet, and Valley. Each stage ends with a chase sequence. If Donald survives, he finds a sacred object and, after collecting all four, can enter the Shrine of the Golden Amulet. There he must return the amulet to the island goddess.

Deep Duck Trouble Starring Donald Duck, known as Donald Duck no Yottsu no Hihou (ドナルドダックの4つの秘宝) in Japan, is a Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear platform game starring Donald Duck. It can be seen as a sequel to The Lucky Dime Caper Starring Donald Duck.

    Story

    Deep Duck Trouble, Introduction.png

    Introduction

Scrooge McDuck finds the legendary Golden Amulet on an uncharted island somewhere. Unfortunately, the amulet is cursed and puffs him up into a floating balloon. It falls on his nephew, Donald Duck, to return the amulet to the island and lift the curse.

    Gameplay

    Deep Duck Trouble, Map.png

    Map

Deep Duck Trouble is a platform game, similar to its predecessor. The player can move Donald around with Left and Right. Donald can kick blocks with the 1 button when standing adjacent to them. Some blocks are kicked towards enemies to defeat them, some are treasure chests that break open to release power-up items, and some have special purposes within the stage that allow Donald to safely bypass certain obstacles or find hidden items. Donald can also jump with 2 or swim underwater with 22222. Most enemies can be defeated by jumping on top of them. Some areas are accessed by bouncing off enemies. Up enters doors and Down ducks.
