NBA Live 97 is a 1996 basketball game for the Sega Saturn. Unlike its Sega Mega Drive counterpart, the Saturn version is presented in full 3D.
Due to Michael Jordan pulling out of the NBA Players Accociation in favour of his own licensing deals, NBA Live 97 lacks Jordan as a player. Instead, Jordan is replaced with the infamous "Player #99", which when selected for the Chicago Bulls, is essentially Michael Jordan in all but name.
