The Game Drive 2 is an unlicensed Sega Mega Drive model 2 clone, released in parts of Asia and eastern Europe during the 1990s. Its origins are unknown, though it has also been sold as the Game Star (with one unit found in Turkey).
Unlike most Mega Drive 2 clones which opt to copy Sega's design as closely as possible, the Game Drive 2 uses a more "angular" shell with a cartridge port area becoming a dodecagon rather than an oval.
