Mega Drive version
Infinite time
On the title screen, press on the second control pad (there is no confirmation for a correct input). While the timer will still count down, it will now stop at 1.
Clean pause
Press START on the second control pad, and the PAUSED text will not appear when the game is paused. This setting will persist until the game is reset.
