Yoshitaka Maeyama joined Sega Enterprises in 1994 and was assigned to the CG Design Section[4] of Sega AM3[5], where he did minor jobs like creating the entrance video for Yokohama Joypolis.[4] and some work for Sega AM3's Sega Fax Club[6]. A year later he was reassigned to AM3 as a director, developing Decathlete.
