Cross Fire is a 1991 shoot-'em-up for the Sega Mega Drive by A.I and Kyugo. It is a reskin of the Japan-only Super Airwolf, a game made to tie into Universal Pictures' Airwolf television series; Acclaim held the exclusive rights to publish Airwolf console and handheld games in America and Europe.

Gameplay
The player can choose which of several missions to choose from a map. After choosing a mission, they can choose which shot type, gun type, and bomb to take with them on the helicopter, and will then start the mission. The button fires the main gun and can be held for rapid fire, drops a bomb, and activates the shield.
After this routine, the player has a short period in a larger ship just shooting at obstacles before landing, coming out of the plane, and moving around and shooting Commando-style.
