Truxton, called Tatsujin in Japan, is a 1988 arcade shoot-'em-up developed by Toaplan. It was ported to the Sega Mega Drive and released internationally in 1989 (1990 in Europe). Gidans have begun an invasion of Borogo and have managed to destroy all but one Borogo fighter ship; the player must take control of this ship and defeat the Gidans.

Gameplay

A and C shoot; B launches a bomb (which resembles a full screen size skull when exploding; there is a limited supply of these). Powerups are found in capsules scattered about each level; shoot them to release them from the capsule.
