Sega Pinball Inc. was a division of Sega which existed during the 1990s. Though Sega had been manufacturing and distributing pinball machines in the 1970s, the Sega Pinball name only came into use after Sega bought Data East's pinball division in 1994. The name lasted until 1999 when the assets were sold to Gary Stern (who had been in charge of Data East's/Sega's pinball divisions since 1986), who decided to operate externally under the name "Stern Pinball".

Being eventually one of two pinball manufacturers left, Sega Pinball managed to obtain the rights to produce pinball machines based on many of the top films of the decade.
