Asteroids is a 1979 arcade game developed by Atari.

Sega licensed Asteroids at some point, creating their own cabinets and artwork for the game, most likely for the Japanese market (even though Taito also distributed the game in that region). Little is known about the Sega variant of Asteroids - it is assumed to be identical to the original Atari production run.
