Senkan Yamato (センカン ヤマト) is a Space Invaders clone made by Sega in 1978. The concept differs slightly from most Space Invader clones in that the player pilots a space battleship (similar to Uchuu Senkan Yamato) with three turrets, defending against aliens. Once both sides of the ship are secured, the game ends. The cabinet is nearly identical to Space Fighter, and it is unknown exactly how similar gameplay is. The game appears to have been made in much smaller quantities compared to Space Fighter.
