Jim Woods is a former Director of Development Services at Sega West.
He entered the games industry in 1989 with PC Wise, a company specialised in bulk disc duplication for magazine cover-mounts and joined Leeds based Vektor Grafix in the same year were he worked until 1990 as an Accountant. He joined Cross Products in 1991, as a Managing Director supplying the first real-time editing tools to the worldwide game development community, the SNASM (the Spino Norman's Assembler or SN Assembler, jointly developed by Martin Day a.k.a Spiny Norman of SN Systems and Ian Oliver and Andy Craven founders of Cross Products) until 1995, leaving the company in the same year, shortly after the business was sold to Sega.
