A somewhat different Sega Game Gear version was also developed and completed by Bit Managers, slated for a 1996 release, but its release was cancelled by Infogrames; a late prototype ROM containing the full game circulates around the Internet; it is very similar to the 1996 released Game Boy version.

A Sega Master System GG2SMS hack was released in January 2017.
