Global Entertainment R&D Dept. #2 or GE2 was a division within Sega of Japan. It was created by Sega WOW staff, and mainly focused on the home or handheld market. It continued as Sega CS3 after a restructure.
The major and only console project from the division was Valkyria Chronicles. Aside from this, the last entries of the Sakura Wars were released, some entires in the edutainment Naruhodo amongst other smaller fare titles, mostly aimed at Japan.
