Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo, and the Battle That Defined a Generation is a non-fiction novel detailing the history of Sega of America's famous marketing battle to overcome Nintendo's monopoly on the American video game industry. Written by author Blake J. Harris, the book was produced with significant involvement from a number of the company's biggest players, such as Tom Kalinske and Al Nilsen, and is notably written with reconstructed dialogue and dramatized versions of actual events.
