Elitserien 96 is an ice hockey game published by Electronic Arts and a sequel (or update) to Elitserien 95. It is based on NHL 96 an only released in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Neurostone made the Swedish version.
The player on the front of the cover is Morgan Samuelsson from AIK. Behind him another player from the same team and two others from MIF, now rebranded Malmö Redhawks. On the manual NHL player Tomas Holmström from Luleå Hockey gets hit by American AIK player named Brett Hauer. Hauer's first and last season in AIK was 94/95.
On the back of the inlay it reads: Köpa och sålja spelare (Buy and sell players), but the correct spelling is Köpa och sälja spelare.
Sound and music by famous composer David Whittaker.
