Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is the name of two games based off of the Indiana Jones franchise, both released in 1992. The first was a graphic adventure game published and developed by LucasArts for DOS-based PCs, and was an original story. The second, released around the same time, was an isometric action-adventure adaptation for various home computers, developed by Attention To Detail and published by US Gold, under the subtitle The Action Game (similarly to what happened with US Gold's Last Crusade adaptation)

A Sega Master System version, presumably based off of The Action Game, was announced sometime in 1991 and was planned to be released in 1992 alongside the Game Gear version of Last Crusade, but this was quietly cancelled.

Later on, a Sega Mega-CD port was announced, this time based off of the enhanced CD-ROM version of the original graphic adventure, to be published by JVC Musical Industries and developed by LucasArts themselves, and was featured at the Summer CES 1993[3]. Despite receiving various amounts of media coverage, including a review on an issue of Sega Visions magazine,[4] which also featured various screenshots as well as a VRC rating, suggesting that development on the port was quite far, it ended up being cancelled. It is presumed that the reason to cancel its release was due to poor sales of the earlier Mega-CD port of The Secret of Monkey Island.

Fate of Atlantis would ultimately hit consoles in 2009 as an unlockable bonus on LucasArts' Wii game Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, albeit as an emulation rather than an actual port.
