Sakura Ikeda (池田 さくら) is a game designer at Sega of Japan. A long-time fan of the Yakuza franchise for its deep story, side-quests and mini-games, she joined Sega in 2020 and became one of the franchise's developers starting with Lost Judgment. While she already knew the series had a strong female player base, she was surprised to be surrounded by women who had long been developing the Yakuza games[1].

Ikeda's work after Lost Judgment has been on Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, where she designed party member events and content exclusive to the Dondoko Island location[1].
