Shinji Motoyama (本山 真二) joined Sega as a planner in 2002, most likely at Overworks, as his earliest projects are the Sega WOW titles Nightshade and Blood Will Tell: Tezuka Osamu's Dororo. He is best known for his involvement with the SEGAxBLEACH Project[1] and overseeing the Valkyria Chronicles franchise beginning with Valkyria Chronicles II.
