Contents
Gameplay
Batman can fire Batarang projectiles to combat enemies, swing around stages with the Batclaw, and safely glide from great heights with the Glider Cape. Unlike the Sega Game Gear version, Batman has no life bar, but extra lives are plentiful to compensate.
Three types of powerups can be acquired from colored Batman symbols placed throughout the game: Yellow symbols increase walking speed, gray symbols increase Batarang power, and red symbols function as extra lives.
Stages
At the beginning of each stage, players choose between one of the two routes. Route A is typically shorter and easier, while Route B is riskier and more difficult. At the end of each stage is a boss which must be defeated to proceed.
