Contra: Legacy of War is an entry in the Contra series of video games, released for the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation. The Saturn version was exclusive to North America and is the second and final Contra game to be released for a Sega system, the first being Contra: Hard Corps for the Sega Mega Drive.
Legacy of War is different to other Contra games as it has a top-down 3D perspective on gameplay rather than a 2D sidescrolling one.
