Windows Version

DGen is an emulator for Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. It runs on many operating systems including Microsoft Windows and Linux. It is open source software licensed under the BSD License. Versions until 1.04a were released for DOS, but these never had sound support. Since then, a newer version using SDL as a backend has been released, named DGen/SDL

DGen and DGen/SDL are no longer maintained for first four operating systems, but maintained by Syn-Z for PlayStation Portable 1.5. [1]
