rightWindows Version

DGen is an emulator for Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. It runs on many operating systems including Microsoft Windows and Linux. It is open source software licensed under the BSD License. Versions until 1.04a were released for DOS, but these never had sound-support.


DGen/SDL is the version that uses Simple DirectMedia Layer.

DGen and DGen/SDL are no longer maintained for first four operating systems, but maintained by Syn-Z for PlayStation Portable 1.5. [1]
