The message (from programmer Stu Gregg) begins at 00017D60, immediately following the text prompting you to enter your initials for a new high score. No programming has been found which points to this string.[1]

On the title screen, press 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 2 on the second Control Pad. As well as adding a sound test, pressing 1 on the second Control Pad will complete levels and 2 will change the terrain.
