Golden Axe: Beast Rider is a 2008 beat 'em up game developed by Secret Level and published by Sega for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is the first game in the Golden Axe series since Golden Axe: The Duel in 1994.

Tyris Flare, from the original Golden Axe, is the only playable character. Other returning (though unplayable) characters include Gilius Thunderhead and Tarik (retconned to be the same character as Ax Battler), as well as main villain Death Adder. Gameplay revolves around killing waves of enemies with a sword, as well as some magic and animals that can be ridden.
