Grand Theft Auto (グランド セフト オート) is an action adventure game developed by DMA Design for DOS and Windows PCs, and the Sony PlayStation. Versions were planned for the Sega Saturn and Nintendo 64, but went unreleased. The Saturn version was apparently due in December 1996, but was delayed and eventually cancelled because of poor sales of the console.

The game's sequel, Grand Theft Auto 2, was released for the Sega Dreamcast.
