Difference between revisions of "Master System consoles in Eastern Europe"

The Eastern European Sega Master System debuted in 1988 and until 1995, it was introduced in all markets, with some of the regions having only the second model, distributed here from 1992. The systems are identical to PAL ones seen in Western Europe, with only differences being manuals in native language, warranty cards, catalogues, posters and distributor seals on box or under console.

-The [[Sega Master System]] console first appeared in this region in 1988. In the following years, the console was released on another market in this region with the collapse of the communist system and market liberalization. From 1993, [[Sega]] began distributing the second Master System model. All consoles were compatible with the PAL system as seen in rest of Europe. The Master System did not achieve much success, although, as in Western Europe, it enjoyed much more popularity than the NES console, but it was outclassed by the famiclones that were found almost everywhere.
