Revision as of 15:12, 4 April 2021
The Sega Master System console first appeared in this region in 1988. In the following years, the console was released on another market in this region with the collapse of the communist system and market liberalization. From 1993, Sega began distributing the second Master System model. All consoles were compatible with the PAL system as seen in rest of Europe. The Master System did not achieve much success, although, as in Western Europe, it enjoyed much more popularity than the NES console, but it was outclassed by the famiclones that were found almost everywhere.
