Portidata Software Interactivo was a software distribution company[1] founded in May 1990 (as Portidata Software Recreativo), in Portimão[2], Algarve, Portugal by Portuguese businessman José Taborda Martins[3] (José Manuel Taborda Martins, currently a Java Developer) and Portuguese programmer Rui Manuel Tito[4][5] (Rui Manuel dos Prazeres Tito).
