NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 10, 1995--Ricki Fairley-Brown has been named vice president, marketing for Sega Channel(SM/TM), it was announced today.

A 14-year marketing veteran, Fairley-Brown will be responsible for overseeing the company's marketing department, including developing a new creative and strategic marketing program for the interactive service.

Most recently, Fairley-Brown was marketing director at Reckitt & Colman where she was responsible for establishing the trade marketing department. Other positions she held included such high profile brand assignments as Carpet Fresh, Airwick, Mr. Bubble and Black Flag at Reckitt & Colman; Theragran at E.R. Squibb; Bubble Yum Gum and Lifesavers Candy at Nabisco Brands Inc.; and Children's Tylenol at McNeil Consumer Products Co.

Fairley-Brown holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and has an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.

Sega Channel began its national roll-out in December 1994, was developed by Sega of America Inc., Tele-Communications Inc. and Time Warner Entertainment Company, L.P. and is the industry's first interactive service, providing videogames on demand, 24 hours a day.

Sega Channel subscribers can choose from a wide selection of popular videogames such as Earthworm Jim and Sonic and Knuckles, special versions of soon-to-be-released titles, gameplay tips, news, contests and promotions. Sega Channel is priced in the range of most premium subscription services. The programming is updated monthly.
