 SEGA PRAISES TOP VIDEOGAME DEVELOPERS WITH THE 1995 THIRD PARTY SEAL OF QUALITY AWARDS

    -- U.S. Gold and Electronic Arts awarded Product of the Year Honors --

    LOS ANGELES, May 16, 1996 -- In an awards ceremony celebrated last night at the Sunset Strip hot spot, The House of (Sonic) Blues, Sega of America announced its 1995 Third Party Seal of Quality Awards for excellence in videogame development. The awards were presented to companies who demonstrated innovative design and outstanding programming in creating Sega console-based videogames.

    "This annual event is a great way for Sega to compliment and recognize the importance of third party support in our ongoing videogame development," Joy Schneer, associate director of third party licensing, Sega of America, said.
