LOS ANGELES, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Warning! Video arcade gamers be on alert to wear flame retardant clothing and keep a fire extinguisher ready. DIE HARD ARCADE, Fox Interactive's explosive, made-for-arcade adventure has blazed to the top of RePlay Magazine's video software chart, seizing the number one position for the second month in a row. RePlay's monthly "Players' Choice" charts are tabulated based on ballots received from video arcade operators nationwide rating games currently in active operation in the U.S.

Harnessing Sega's(R) state-of-the-art Titan architecture, DIE HARD ARCADE delivers the raw power and pure gameplay force that hardcore arcade gamers everywhere thrive on.

"Working with Sega has enabled Fox Interactive to bring the excitement and energy of Die Hard into arcades with DIE HARD ARCADE," said Jon Richmond, president, Fox Interactive. "The combination of Fox's wildly successful Die Hard property and Sega's excellent reputation in arcade gaming is sure to set the standard for collaborations between motion picture studios and the video arcade industry.

"We are very pleased at the overwhelming response we've had from gamers and arcade operators alike," said Richmond. "DIE HARD ARCADE's success is sure to continue given the worldwide popularity of the Die Hard property and the incredible demand for Sega's Titan arcade systems."

In this one or two-player arcade game, heavily-armed terrorists have seized a Los Angeles skyscraper and taken several hostages. Gamers must fight and shoot their way through the building in a quest to rescue hostages before being blown sky high. Confronting more than 30 villainous characters, players must battle through five stages packed with multiple levels, defeating enemies by attacking with punches, kicks or a variety of ten different assault weapons.

The heart-pumping action in DIE HARD ARCADE ignites with more than 1,000 character animations. CG Polygon Graphics and full texture mapping provide dynamic gaming perspective, while bone-crunching digital sound effects make this rescue experience intensely realistic.
